About Generosity
The Lotus Institute is a non-for-profit organization sustained by the generosity of friends. The Buddhist term for giving is Dana and can take many forms including financial, material and human resource.
Global Stewardship
An Important part of the Lotus Institute's stewardship commitment is to offer 5% of all contributions received to the Plum Village assist in the work of the Vietnam Children's Program. The Plum village organization currently supports 1000 schools with these programs, books and vocational training facilities and staff.

Tax-Exemption
The Lotus institute is qualified as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law.
